Disinfection of medical devices should be performed regularly according to the disinfection plan after each patient visit.
BACTICID contains clean and low-evaporation ethyl alcohol to avoid respiratory allergies. BACTICID has broad fungicidal and bactericidal effects, destroying Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including the tuberculosis-causing agent, as well as fungi. It deactivates both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses (including HBV, HIV, Rota, and Adeno).
Usage:
BACTICID is an effective tool for rapid disinfection of medical devices such as operating tables, stretchers, patient chairs, hospital and delivery beds, wheelchairs, etc., under high hygiene conditions where disinfection is the most important preventive measure against infection.
BACTICID is a ready-to-use solution and does not require dilution. It is not suitable for use on acrylic glass or alcohol-soluble coatings. If the surface tolerance to alcohol is unknown, it should be tested on an inconspicuous area.
No rinsing required. Does not alter the visual appearance of surfaces. It can also be used for rapid disinfection of surfaces that come into contact with food.
BACTICID is applied to the surfaces of medical devices using a damp cloth or paper towel. The surface should remain visibly moist.
Action time: 30 seconds.
If visible secretion is present on the surface, first remove it with a cleaner, dry the surface, and then disinfect with Bacticid.
BACTICID has passed tests for BVDV (HCV surrogate) and Vaccinia viruses and inactivates all enveloped viruses. Based on these tests, it can be stated that BACTICID is also effective against bloodborne viruses such as HBV, HCV, and HIV, as well as virus groups like orthomyxoviruses (including influenza virus, H5N1) and herpes viruses (Herpes simplex). Based on these tests, we confirm that BACTICID is effective against bloodborne viruses such as HBV, HCV, HIV, and herpes viruses.
